Theme: Parenthood: The Art of Caring

We’re looking for artists whose work responds to this theme in any way they choose to interpret it.

This might reflect your own experience of parenthood, or observations of motherhood, fatherhood, and family life. It could explore childhood, imagination, innocence, and the way children see the world with curiosity and wonder.

We welcome work that explores the full spectrum of parenthood; its joys, challenges, sacrifices, humour, warmth, and complexity. We’re interested in stories of care, connection, responsibility, growth, and love between parents, children, grandparents, carers, and wider communities.

As always, our Open Call is free to enter and open to artists working in all mediums.

Send up to 3 artworks that fit the theme, including:
title, dimensions (cm), materials, and price.

Please include a brief 150 words on why you think your submitted artworks fit the theme.

Selected artists announced: 30th July

Exhibition Dates: 3rd–27th September at our Crystal Palace gallery.

All exhibited works must be available for sale.
Commission: 40% + VAT (48%).

Due to the high volume of applications, we’re unable to respond individually to artists who have not been selected for this year’s exhibition, but we are very grateful to everyone who applies 🙏
